AUTO REPAIR CLERK/SERVICE ADVISOR

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto repair estimates, including labor, parts, and additional services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, transmissions, suspension, and alignments Communicate clearly with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics and repair requirements Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety Handle cash transactions accurately and manage service writing documentation efficiently Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and repair procedures across various systems including diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body repairs Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service skills Requirements Previous dealership experience or auto service management background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and sales techniques Familiarity with a wide range of automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspensions, transmissions, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, and auto body work Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; automotive certifications are a plus Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
