In this vital role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their vehicle service experience, ensuring they receive top-notch care and expert advice. Your enthusiasm for cars and exceptional customer service skills will help build lasting relationships, drive sales, and keep vehicles running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain repair and maintenance services clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service recommendations. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, and diesel engine repairs. Upsell additional services and maintenance packages to enhance vehicle performance and safety while meeting customer needs. Manage service writing processes, including creating work orders and tracking vehicle progress from intake to delivery. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all service activities. Foster strong customer relationships through excellent communication, follow-up, and personalized service experiences. Requirements Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred, but not recommended. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems such as transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes, suspensions, alignments, and tire services. Experience working with service technicians on vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and auto body repairs. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of auto estimating software and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Mechanical experience or background as a mechanic or service technician is advantageous.
