In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in auto body repair while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication techniques to restore vehicle structures accurately. Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement, including airless paint spraying for a flawless finish. Use automotive repair knowledge to assess damage, estimate repairs, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, heavy lifting, and assembly of parts during repair processes. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Support auto restoration projects by fabricating parts, performing auto body refinishing, and detailing vehicles for delivery. Requirements Minimum of one year experience as an automotive body technician or similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service skills to explain repairs clearly to clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques including auto restoration, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and welding processes. Experience with dealership operations or automotive repair shops is preferred but not required.
