Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Trailer Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty trailers and equipment. In this energetic role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills to ensure trailers are safe, reliable, and ready for operation. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of transportation operations, customer satisfaction, and safety standards. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers, including brake systems, suspensions, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, assembly, and modifications to trailers or related equipment. Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repair processes. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Use hand tools, power tools, welding and torch cutting equipment, and specialized diagnostic devices to complete repairs accurately. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment repair with a strong mechanical background. Familiarity with diagnostics, and electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension systems air systems and sub frame assemblies. Hands-on experience with fabricating using welding or cutting tools; ability to read schematics effectively. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts and lift platforms is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable working in a shop environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Certification or experience as a service technician roles preferred; relevant licenses are a plus. Pay:
$19.00 - $35.00 per hour
