Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, and steering systems, including diesel engine repair and auto body repairs when necessary. Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and tire service to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Maintain detailed repair records, prepare auto estimates, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments, suspension checks, and welding when required for comprehensive service. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, powertrain components, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with ADAS technology, air brake systems (for commercial vehicles), diesel engine repair, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
