Overview Join our automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Whether working on engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will ensure vehicles operate safely and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and suspensions to restore optimal vehicle function. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs to keep vehicles in peak condition. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and maintenance while adhering to safety standards. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to ensure precise repairs. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing reliable solutions. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools, schematics, and electrical systems is essential. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance machinery safely. Familiarity with Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru, and Volvo vehicles or similar brands is a plus; certification in ADAS or auto estimating is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, suspension systems, tire service including shocks & struts is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
