  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operational goals. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on heavy and light vehicles, equipment , and machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension adjustments, and transmission servicing to keep equipment in optimal condition. Fabricate parts and components using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet repair specifications. Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, hydraulics, air brake systems, and electrical wiring. Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing phases while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair. Dealership experience or similar service technician background is highly preferred. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals related to hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, HVAC systems, and suspension components. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other fabrication tools. Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with tractor-trailers and industrial equipment is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members. Certifications related to diesel engine repair, brake systems (including air brakes), tire service, welding certifications or equivalent are advantageous.
