Job Qualifications:
Two (2) current State of Michigan Mechanic Certifications; three (3) or more certifications preferred. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record that meets Company insurance requirements for operating Company vehicles. Current or previous automotive technician or mechanic experience in the areas for which certifications are held; heavy experience is preferred. Full-time availability and flexible to work overtime as needed. The current schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm (usually out early on Fridays). Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical job duties requiring manual dexterity, flexibility, bending, twisting, and prolonged standing. Adequate near vision and hearing ability to safely perform job responsibilities. ASE certifications are preferred. Ability to meet established shop productivity standards. Automotive Technician:
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. Repair/replace/adjust as needed; test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications; follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and/or other potentially troublesome areas. Review repair or work orders to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discuss work to be performed & future repair requirements with management as necessary. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services and ensure maintenance meets standards.

Wage:
