Hours:
Looking for day and afternoon shift. 7-3:30pm or 2:30-11pm available
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on customer's heavy-duty vehicles. Conduct advanced troubleshooting on truck systems and engines. Utilize computer diagnostics and specialty tools to identify and solve problems. Overhaul and replace mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Maintain vehicle appearance through cleaning, washing, and painting. Keep detailed records of vehicle services and repairs. Operate and maintain shop equipment, performing preventive maintenance and arranging for repairs as needed. Stay updated on industry advancements by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Ensure the security of the building upon closing.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Vocational or Technical certification is preferred but not required. Own a comprehensive set of tools (experienced). Proficient in diagnostic programs and troubleshooting. Knowledgeable in class 7 and 8 trucks. Positive attitude with a commitment to performing tasks accurately. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Michigan State Certification is a must. Clean driving record and a CDL B or ability to obtain one. Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
