Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy service department. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a smooth and positive experience for every client. You will coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians to deliver top-quality service, and uphold our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service recommendations Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, engines, etc Inform customers of additional services that are needed or upcoming, highlighting benefits that meet customer needs while maintaining transparency and trust Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including creating work orders and updating repair status throughout the process Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote future business through excellent customer service Requirements Prior experience of automotive service background a plus Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures a plus Experience in auto estimating - Mitchel Program experience a plus!!! Knowledge of automotive systems such as transmissions, oil change procedures, auto body repair processes, air brake systems, alignment techniques, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair methods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Prior experience in service writing and auto estimating software is preferred Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing a positive customer experience Mechanical experience or mechanic background is highly desirable to better understand technical aspects of vehicle repairs Join our team to be part of an environment where you are appreciated and valued.

Pay:

$21.00 - $30.00 per hour
