The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with expertise in various areas including diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and powertrain systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct diesel engine repairs as needed, utilizing specialized tools and equipment. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively. Collaborate with team members to complete automotive service tasks efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services provided. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and vehicle maintenance practices. Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding techniques is preferred. Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
