DeBoer Chevrolet Co. in Edgerton, MN has been a family-owned business since 1947. We are a full-service Chevrolet dealership that has built our name and reputation on quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician (Entry-Level to C-Level) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in quality of work, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. This position works Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm with rotating Saturday mornings. We offer competitive pay, paid time off, health insurance reimbursement, 401(k), and Tenure Bonus Program.
About The Position:
As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance, vehicle inspections and basic repairs based on your experience and skill level. If you are dependable, eager to learn and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance, which includes oil change, tire rotation and replacement, battery testing and replacement and other scheduled maintenance service. Complete GM Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections and accurately and recommend maintenance needs to the service advisor. Check and top off vehicle fluids including coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid, and other fluids as needed. Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, lights, and other safety-related components. Maintain accurate repair orders and document all services performed. Safely operate customers vehicles in and around the dealership. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards. Perform maintenance and repair work based on your experience level while continuing to develop technical skills. Ensure every vehicle is returned and clean and in excellent condition. Perform additional shop duties assigned.
Requirements:
Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience is preferred but not required- we're willing to train the right candidate. Valid driver's license. High School diploma or GED preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality of workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Apply Today!
