Job Description
- Job Title: Automotive Technician
- Job Description
- This position entails layout, wiring, and mounting of hydraulics, electronics, and PTO's on custom truck bodies. Working with hand and power tools daily to fabricate equipment.
- Responsibilities
- + Layout and mount hydraulics, electronics, and PTO's on custom truck bodies. + Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, and installation tasks. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production.
- Essential Skills
- + Six months experience in heavy installation, preferably on vehicles. + Basic understanding of hydraulics, PTO, frames, pumps, electrical controls, and wiring. + Ability to use basic math for machine setup and operation. + Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Capability to pick, push, and move objects up to 50 lbs. + Physical ability to bend, twist, carry, work overhead, kneel, crouch, and climb. + Must be able to stand on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes throughout the shift.

- Work Environment
- The work environment is a large open factory floor with dim lighting due to welding stations, equipped with large overhead cranes and good ventilation. Employees will be exposed to a heavy industrial atmosphere including grease, oil, heat, humidity, and occasionally cramped or wet conditions. Physical requirements include climbing ladders and using creepers under chassis.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $19.
00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
