Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues across various automotive systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as alignment, transmission repairs, and welding. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately. Maintain knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automotive electrical systems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about vehicle issues and repair options. Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing maintenance tasks. Experience Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. Familiarity with powertrain components, automotive service procedures, and customer service best practices. Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools necessary for vehicle repairs.
