Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services and other basic repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior automotive repair experience is highly valued, and the position offers opportunities for professional growth within the automotive industry. Duties Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs using hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency Conduct tire rotations, replacements, and balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance Assist with wheel alignments and brake inspections as needed Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to customers or supervisors Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, battery checks, and light repairs Support team members with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment when necessary Qualifications Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment required Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform oil changes, tire services and basic repairs Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Valid driver's license; willingness to learn new skills in automotive service industry This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and customer service to develop their skills in a professional environment.
