  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems and technologies, delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle performance. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other electronic modules to ensure modern vehicle safety features function correctly. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs, welding, and auto body work as needed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad spectrum of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, and suspension systems. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with auto body repair techniques and welding is a plus. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid automotive technician certification or relevant mechanic experience required; ongoing training in ADAS or electrical systems is desirable.
