Job Description

Automotive Mechanic - Performance Shop A performance-focused automotive shop in Osseo is hiring a Mechanic to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves cars—especially Japanese imports—and wants to work on performance builds, tuning projects, and enthusiast-driven upgrades rather than routine repair work. Both experienced mechanics and entry-level candidates coming out of automotive trade school are encouraged to apply. Performance or racing experience is a plus but not required.
Position:
Mechanic Entry-Level (Trade School): $20-$25/hr Experienced /
High-Caliber Mechanic:
$26-$36/hr Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Responsibilities Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including performance and race-oriented builds Diagnose mechanical and drivability issues using modern diagnostic tools, service information, and schematics Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately identify required repairs or improvements Perform work to a high standard with attention to detail and long-term reliability Document repairs, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle condition, findings, and recommended services Use shop tools and specialized equipment safely and properly Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional workflow Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, performance parts, and repair techniques Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and vehicle systems Experience working on Japanese makes and performance vehicles preferred Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship Interview Process In-person interview Knowledge assessment Required Screens DOT Knowledge assessment #NowHiring
