Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled Diagnostic Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will utilize advanced automotive diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently. Your passion for automotive technology and mechanical repair will ensure our customers receive top-tier service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Use automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to accurately identify vehicle problems across various systems including engine, electrical, transmission, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Perform detailed diagnostics on automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and electronic control modules using specialized equipment. Repair or replace faulty components such as diesel engines, engine wiring diagrams interpretation, and other vehicle systems with precision. Conduct vehicle maintenance procedures including alignments, engine repairs, electrical system troubleshooting, and heavy lifting when necessary. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to facilitate effective repairs on complex electrical systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of diagnostics performed and repairs completed for each vehicle serviced. Skills Proven AUtomitive industry experience or extensive background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain systems, and vehicle electrical systems. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting modern vehicles. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics effectively. Skilled in diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Physical ability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods. Knowledge of alignment procedures and vehicle maintenance best practices across standard passenger cars and GM vehicles preferred.
