Job Description:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Service Writer/Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service. You will be responsible for accurately documenting customer concerns, scheduling appointments, and coordinating service activities with our technicians. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service by keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues.
  • Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended repairs or maintenance.
  • Generate service estimates and obtain customer approval for repairs.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service work.
  • Source and order parts required to complete service in a timely manner.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in automotive service writing or customer service roles preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on building rapport and trust.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology is a plus.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
