Automotive Fleet Mechanic Full-Time | Union Position Join a Team That Keeps St. Louis Moving. G&N Services is seeking an experienced Automotive Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Bridgeton, Missouri. As part of our family of companies—including St. Louis County & Yellow Cab and BEST Transportation—you'll play an important role in maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles that safely serve the St. Louis community every day. If you're a skilled mechanic who takes pride in quality work and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and scan tools Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services Repair and maintain brakes, steering, suspension, tires, transmissions, drive axles, and other vehicle systems Accurately document repairs and maintenance performed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all established shop safety procedures Collaborate with and support fellow team members as needed Diesel experience is a plus and may provide opportunities to work on additional fleet vehicles. Qualifications 3+ years of professional automotive mechanic experience Formal automotive training preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license Ability to provide your own tools Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings Work Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Physical Requirements Ability to work in a busy garage environment Stand for extended periods of time Work under vehicles and in confined spaces Lift up to 100 lbs at a time.
