In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a seamless experience for clients while driving service sales and fostering long-term relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended services and repairs clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and options. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmission repairs, and diesel engine diagnostics. Upsell additional maintenance or repair services by highlighting benefits that meet customer needs while maximizing dealership sales opportunities. Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including creating work orders and processing invoices with accuracy. Handle cash transactions securely and maintain precise financial records. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships that encourage repeat business. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and general vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with service technicians on complex repairs such as transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, alignment, suspension systems, tire service, brake repair, oil changes, auto body repair, and diesel engine diagnostics. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Proficiency in auto estimating software and automotive service processes is a plus. Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Knowledge of automotive sales processes is beneficial but not required.
