Trailer Technician

Trailer Technician Our client is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repair and maintenance work while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to diagnosing and resolving issues correctly the first time. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented shop environment and values accountability, organization, and craftsmanship. This role is on-site in Jackson, Missouri. Trailer Technician Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and internal standards. Inspect completed work to ensure repairs fully resolve the original issue and meet quality expectations. Identify and communicate additional maintenance or repair needs to leadership as they arise. Accurately track labor time and job details using shop management or job costing systems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring trailers are kept in good condition during service. Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials. Support warranty processes by properly documenting and returning applicable parts. Trailer Technician Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Hands-on experience with trailer repair, mechanical systems, or related equipment maintenance. Basic computer proficiency for time tracking and work order management. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Own tools and prior experience in carpentry or general automotive repair are a plus.
