Express Employment Professionals is seeking candidates to fill our Lube/ Tire Technician Position. Ideal candidates will remove and replaces oil filters, drains engines of old oil, replaces with new oil, install/ balance tires, and repair tires for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Duties:

Perform new tire installations and/or repair tires on vehicles. Inspect tires before and after installations. Complete tire rotations, balancing, alignments, and other maintenance tasks. Check vehicle fluid levels and perform oil changes. Check tire pressure and perform tire rotation. Diagnose vehicle problems. Perform safety inspections on vehicle. Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered guns. Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, and rear axle housing.

Requirements:

1-2 years of automotive experience ASE Certified preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license Experience with various hand tools Knowledge of ABS brake systems preferred.
