Job Description

Job Overview Ozark Body Works is a well established locally owned and operated repair facility that has been in business for 30 years, proudly serving Ozark and surrounding communities. We pride ourselves on our customers service and attention to detail. We are currently looking for an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our Team.

  • Vacation after one year What we are looking for: Experienced Automotive Technician with at least 2 years experience in the industry Certification are a plus but not a requirement example I-Car, ASE, and OEM certified Reliable Transportation Valid Drivers License Own Tools Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, changing and/or replacing lights, and tire rotations. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Complete auto estimating for repairs and communicate findings clearly to customers regarding necessary work. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and vehicle schematics reading is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Familiarity with all make and model vehicles is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
