Automotive Tire & Lube Technician

Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour Pay based on experience, mechanical ability, reliability, and work ethic. Job Summary As a Lube Technician, you will perform routine maintenance services and basic vehicle inspections to help keep our customers safe on the road while supporting the overall efficiency of the shop. Responsibilities Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services Check, top off, and replace fluids including: Engine oil Coolant Brake fluid Transmission fluid Power steering fluid Replace oil, air, and cabin filters Rotate and inspect tires Check and adjust tire pressure Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, lights, batteries, and windshield wipers Perform safety and courtesy inspections Accurately document services performed and vehicle conditions Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies Communicate vehicle concerns and maintenance recommendations to service advisors or management Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous automotive or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Skills & Traits Mechanical aptitude Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic Positive attitude Team-oriented mindset Good communication skills Desire to learn and grow within the company Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and work under vehicles Comfortable working in a shop environment with heat, noise, and automotive odors Benefits Flexible scheduling Health insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Employee discounts Uniform allowance Safety equipment provided Additional Information Full-time position In-person work environment Applicants with criminal records are encouraged to apply Mechanical experience preferred: 1 year If you're dependable, motivated, and interested in building a career in automotive repair, we'd love to meet you.
