Job Description

At Keith Huber we build Vacuum Trucks. We are looking for Mechanics that can help with the process. Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools Excellent problem-solving skills Keen attention to detail Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics A valid driver's license Good interpersonal skills Effective collaboration and communication skills - Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus Summary As a Repair Technician, you will be integral to the maintenance and repair of diesel engines, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. This role requires strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, along with proficiency in hand tools and vehicle maintenance. You will utilize your skills in transmissions, air brakes, and hydraulics while also applying your electrical experience and communication skills to effectively address customer needs. Your background in heavy equipment operation and service technician experience will enhance your ability to thrive in this dynamic environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Having experience with welding is also a plus.
