Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Mechanic Assistant and be a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services. In this energetic role, you'll work alongside experienced mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. All positions are paid, providing valuable hands-on experience in the automotive industry. Responsibilities Assist lead mechanics with vehicle diagnostics and repairs across various systems including brakes, suspension, and electrical components. Support the maintenance and repair to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and automotive electrical systems to perform repairs accurately and efficiently. Help with routine vehicle maintenance such as tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Prepare vehicles for inspections by conducting preliminary diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools; interpret schematics for complex repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes and customer service interactions to ensure clear communication and high-quality service. Requirements Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in suspension components, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive schematics is essential. Experience repairing GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is key. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Basic understanding of auto estimating procedu is a plus. $600.00 - $700.00 per week
