Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as a Certified Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care! In this role, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Your mechanical skills, technical knowledge, and passion for automotive excellence will drive your success in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs accurately. Execute wheel alignments and vehicle calibrations to ensure proper handling and safety standards are met. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Skills Proven dealership or service shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in using schematics, diagnostic software, and testing equipment for precise troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment machines, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Mechanical aptitude combined with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and automotive service equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret wiring diagrams accurately; auto estimating experience is a plus.
