Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal operational performance. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in automotive repair and mechanical systems. Duties Perform routine inspections and general diagnostics on a multitude of different makes and models of automobile and light trucks. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and electrical diagnostics equipment. Repair or replace faulty components including motors, drives, sensors, valves, and wiring in accordance with safety protocols and technical specifications. Conduct welding ( welding if applicable), equipment repairs, and assembly tasks to restore machinery functionality efficiently. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to resolve complex electrical issues. Assist in training team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques to foster a knowledgeable workforce. Experience Proven experience with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, electrical system repair, and electrical blueprint reading. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately. Experience with industrial electrician tasks including wiring, circuit analysis, and high voltage systems. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems troubleshooting combined with the ability to interpret schematics. Prior work involving equipment troubleshooting in an industrial setting using CMMS software is highly desirable. Strong analysis skills coupled with excellent customer service orientation when supporting internal teams or external clients. Ability to perform welding ( welding if applicable), mechanical repairs, and use field service tools effectively. Military experience in technical roles related to maintenance or engineering is considered a plus for this position. $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
