Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to keep vehicles operating at peak performance. Repair and replace diesel engines and heavy equipment components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle readiness for the customer's needs. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems repair, and powertrain diagnostics. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive suspension system repair. Familiarity with transmissions repair including auto estimating procedures for accurate assessments. Ability to work with vehicle schematics and diagnostic software to pinpoint issues precisely. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics background is advantageous. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
