In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and reliably, contributing to their overall satisfaction and trust. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive technologies, powertrain components, and electrical systems, in a fast-paced environment that values technical proficiency and customer service excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and other critical components, including diesel engines and powertrains. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Conduct vehicle alignment, wheel balancing, and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal handling and safety. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating procedures for repairs performed on GM vehicles or similar makes. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including transmission system repair, vehicle suspension system repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with automotive wiring diagram interpretation, ADAS calibration, and vehicle transmission repairs. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools alongside power tools and hand tools for repairs. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
