Looking for a Strong Diagnostics Automotive Technician with prior experience at a dealership or reputable repair shop. Sneads Ferry Tire and Auto is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on providing high-quality service to our customers. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, including but not limited to engine repair and replacements, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive technician tasks Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose vehicle problems Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored Communicate effectively with our service writers and customers to explain diagnoses and recommended repairs, providing excellent customer service Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology through ongoing training and professional development Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Key Needs:
Must have heavy diagnostic and engine repair experience and dealership or reputable repair shop previous work history Your own tools and toolbox Completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive repair preferred ASE certification or equivalent preferred Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Join our team at Sneads Ferry Tire and Auto and become part of a dynamic and customer-focused automotive repair shop. to take the next step in your automotive career!
