Perform control module reprogramming, software updates, and ADAS calibrations. Conduct thorough, accurate digital vehicle inspections to identify immediate safety concerns and future maintenance needs, clearly communicating findings to the service advisor team. Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Serve as the shop's go-to technical resource, assisting and mentoring mid-level or apprentice technicians with complex hurdles to elevate the whole team. Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications Qualifications:
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic Exceptional ability to read, interpret and trace complex electrical wiring diagrams and factory service information. Proven track record of successfully diagnosing all makes and models (domestic and import); experience with European vehicles or Hybrid/EV systems is a major plus. ASE L1 or Equivalent Certifications preferred Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles Meet or exceed hourly goals Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes Professional appearance and strong communication A desire for long-term career development Physical Requirements Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of their workday Drive manual transmission vehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
