Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repairs, and perform welding as needed to restore vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various makes and models. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, diesel engine repair, and auto estimating procedures. Skilled in working with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and oil change procedures. Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, tire service, suspension work including shocks & struts, brake repair, and auto body repair. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
