• Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. This role involves working on various vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and hand and power tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The Automotive Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service through quality repairs and maintenance. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and ADAS technology to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, engines (including diesel), and other mechanical systems. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Repair or replace components related to automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and other mechanical parts. Conduct wheel alignments and other precision services to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met. Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly with customers regarding necessary repairs. Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques, especially for GM vehicles and diesel engines. Requirements Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with dealership experience or service technician background. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS systems, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating procedures is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for vehicle repair. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs efficiently. Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about vehicle issues and repair options. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; ASE certification is a plus.
