Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oil Change Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing quick, efficient oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services that keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and excellent service, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive repair skills and grow within a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Duties Perform oil changes promptly and accurately using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic mechanical components. Assist with additional maintenance services such as tire rotation, wheel alignment, and basic brake inspections when needed. Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify minor issues and communicate findings to the service team or customers. Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate. Support the team with vehicle maintenance tasks, heavy lifting, and other service duties to ensure timely completion of jobs. Requirements Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred; familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus. Proven mechanic experience with mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment safely and effectively. Experience in automotive service environments, including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols is highly desirable. $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
