Service Technician

Description Yadkin Valley Motor Co. in North Wilkesboro, NC is currently seeking a service technician. We are NC's oldest Ford dealership with 111 years in business and have a large customer base and history within the community. Basic health insurance available Dental and vision insurance available Life insurance available Disability Insurance available 401k with company match Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discounts available Job Requirements Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform necessary repairs Estimate cost of vehicle repairs Perform lubrication, general inspection, and other related services Inspect vehicle fluids and replenish when necessary Report equipment defects or malfunctions to manager Re-inspect work or road-test vehicles prior to returning vehicle to customer Attend factory sponsored training when required Stay updated on factory technical bulletins Ensure all vehicles are kept clean Maintain a clean workspace Qualifications Great customer service skills Excellent written and oral communications skills Detail-oriented and willing to follow directions Must have computer proficiency Drivers License US work authorization Background check Schedule 8 hour shift Monday - Friday Experience Mechanical Knowledge (Required) Customer Service (Preferred) Auto Estimating (Preferred) Automotive Diagnostics (Preferred)
