Job Description

Job Summary:
The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes and fluid checks, on customer vehicles in a fast-paced environment. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements following company standards. Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and communicate findings to customers.
Customer Service:
Greet customers and explain services performed. Provide recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs as needed.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment. Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any issues.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Handle hazardous materials, such as used oil and filters, in accordance with regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Work efficiently with team members to ensure timely service delivery. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in an automotive service or quick lube environment preferred. Familiarity with automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy items, such as oil containers. Comfortable working in various weather conditions and in a shop environment.
