Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Honda Service Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring our customers' vehicles perform at their best. Your expertise will help maintain the reputation of our dealership by providing top-tier automotive diagnostics, repairs, and customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including Honda models and other makes, using your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to keep our clients safely on the road. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Repair and replace powertrain components, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs efficiently. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features like lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients. Skills Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with ADAS technology, schematics reading, and diesel engine repair techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, alignment machines, and other automotive repair tools. Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles as well as Honda models or other brands requiring specialized knowledge. Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with a customer-focused attitude to ensure high-quality service delivery. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for complex repairs.
