Essential Functions:

Provide classroom and online instruction to students Prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities Develop and prepare supplement materials to enhance lessons Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance; grade record individual scores Prepare students for industry recognized credentials and assessments Provideclassroomdemonstrationsonvarioustechnology;developassignmentstoprovide hands on experience as appropriate Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Maintainandsubmitallrequiredpaperworkinaneat,accurateandtimelyfashion,including but not limited to: class rosters, pay sheets, attendance forms and grade rosters Overseetheimplementationofpoliciesandproceduresrelatedtorequiredteachingareaand in accordance with CFCC policies and guidelines

Other Important Functions:

Ensure the adherence to safe and appropriate work practices and procedures Help maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies Assess the relevance and impact of various lessons and recommend improvements as needed Overseeandparticipateinfieldstudiesandassignments;travelwithstudentstoprovide assistance and instruction as appropriate Provide guest speakers or field experts where appropriate Stay aware of new developments with the exams and preparation Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of :

Organizational and management practices as applied to the planning, analysis and evaluation of programs, policies and operational needs. Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations. Principles and proceduresofacademicandinstructionalprogramdevelopmentand administration in the area of assignment. Principles and practices of curriculum development and instructional strategies. Current trends, research and development in the area of assignment.

Ability To:

Minimum Education/Training:

A minimum of an AAS degree in Automotive Systems Technology or closely related Transportation Technology field from an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience :

At least five (5) years of professional experience in Automotive Service.

Preferred Education/Training,Experience,Skills :

10 years professional experience in Automotive Systems or closely related field Some previous teaching experience Special Instructions to
