Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about aftermarket parts and accessories. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments, brake repairs, steering repairs, and suspension work to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently. Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards. Skills Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. Knowledge in suspension systems including lift kits, lowering kits, and or air ride. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems Expertise in diagnosing issues related to powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive repair techniques. Mechanical aptitude with excellent understanding of schematics and automotive diagnostics software. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for vehicle repair. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience working on diesel engines is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
