Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Work with diesel engines, heavy equipment mechanics knowledge, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology to handle specialized repairs. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on GM vehicles or similar models. Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive service or dealership environments. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, air brake systems, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery.
