Applicant MUST have at least 3 years of relevant and documented automotive experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic assessments to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Repair and replace parts such as engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical components, and exhaust systems. Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other general repairs. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Provide clear, honest, and accurate communication to customers about their vehicle's condition, repair needs, and estimated costs. Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Collaborate with fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent ASE Technician certification preferred. 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on diagnostics and repair. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, electrical, HVAC, brakes, steering, and suspension. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Management skills for leading a small group of techs/mechanics. Ability to learn service writing. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. Strong communication skills to effectively explain technical issues to customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working in a shop environment with various tools and equipment. Proficiency in using diagnostic software and automotive tools. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements :
