About Us MJS Electrical Services is a growing, high-quality electrical contractor serving residential and light commercial clients throughout southern New Hampshire the close borders of surrounding states. We specialize in dependable power solutions including standby generators, service upgrades, battery storage, solar integration and smart panel technologies . We are building a team of professionals who take pride in their work, show up prepared, and treat customers and coworkers with respect. Position Overview We're looking for a Generator Technician first who is either a registered electrical apprentice or interested in becoming one. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the electrical trade, with a strong focus on generator installation, service, and maintenance . You'll work alongside experienced electricians and generator specialists, gaining hands-on experience while being supported with training and clear expectations. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of standby generators Help with troubleshooting generator and transfer switch systems Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow company procedures, safety standards, and code requirements What We're Looking For Skilled and certified generator technician across multiple brands but mainly Briggs, Winco and Cummins. Interest in generators, power systems, and the electrical trade Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Professional attitude, punctuality, and accountability Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous generator experience and certifications are required, electrical apprentice or license is not required but is a plus.
