Job Description
Automotive Technician Support busy automotive company with manufacturing automotive parts. Steady hours Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Mechanically inclined candidates highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as visual inspection and measurements including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators to verify product dimensions, and tolerances. Sort and distribute parts to the correct area to go to the manufacturing floor. Document and report inspection results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during internal and external quality audits to verify compliance and implement corrective measures.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and calibration activities as part of the company's quality documentation system. Experience Hands-on experience operating measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
