Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive A Level / Diagnostic Technician for a well-established, AAA-approved independent repair shop in Collingswood, NJ . You'll work in a modern 12-bay facility equipped with premium diagnostic equipment, a steady flow of challenging repair work, and a team that respects technical expertise. No weekends. No unnecessary drama. Just quality repairs, professional teammates, and a shop that values skilled diagnosticians. Complete complex repairs with precision and efficiency—not guesswork. Collaborate with Service Advisors to clearly explain diagnostic findings and recommended repairs. Support fellow technicians with difficult diagnostic cases when needed. Continue developing your skills through paid training and advanced technical education. What We're Looking For Minimum 8 years of professional automotive repair experience with a strong diagnostic background. Expert-level experience diagnosing electrical systems, engine performance, drivability, and communication network concerns. Confident using a lab scope (oscilloscope) , digital multimeter, and advanced diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and wiring diagram interpretation.
