The Installation Technician is responsible for installing shelving and mechanical accessories into work vans and box trucks that meet strict company and automotive safety standards. 1st

Shift:

7:00-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to read, understand and follow technical specifications for the installation of equipment on work trucks, vans and equipment is preferred Assemble and install metal shelving units, accessories, and ladder racks Assists with proper assembly of shelving units for customer pickups and installations Maintain warehouse tools and equipment Abide by all company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance when challenges arise Other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES

Ability to read work instructions. Written communication Mechanical aptitude. Problem solving

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 2 year similar experience in commercial vehicle installs or upfits Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and wiring schematics Ability to understand and learn DC 12 Volt installation Good with hand tools

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; Reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to move in and out of vans on a consistent basis.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$19-24 per hour depending on skills/experience

Experience:

Automotive tech 1-2 years (Required) 12 Volt electrical experience Working with hand tools
