Automotive Technician

One of the largest Mazda Dealerships in the United States is looking for A, B, C technician for our growing service department. Identifying necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance. Estimating cost of repairs. Performing vehicle repairs and maintenance. Documenting services performed. Performing services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines. Following dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Requesting necessary parts. Maintaining CSI (Customer Service Index) at or above Company standards Maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area Participating in required training Recording all hours worked accurately in Company timekeeping system Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.

Certificates and Licenses Valid Insurable Driver's License Computer Skills:

Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and following instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
