Job Description

Job Title:
Automotive Mechanic (A/B-Level): Tire Tech & Auto Service is the highest-rated shop in Gloucester County — and we didn't get there by hiring warm bodies to turn wrenches. We got here by doing the job right, every time, for every customer. Now we're looking for the tech who's ready to help us keep that reputation locked in. If you're the kind of tech who takes pride in a clean repair, communicates what you find, and doesn't need someone standing over your shoulder — keep reading. What You'll Actually Be Doing Brakes & Suspension — Pads, rotors, calipers, struts, shocks, ball joints. The full menu. You know this stuff cold. Alignments — Precision front-end and four-wheel work on our alignment rack. Not a "close enough" shop.
A/C & HVAC
— Full diagnosis, leak detection, and component replacement. Compressors, condensers, evaporators — the works. 609 cert required, not optional. Tires — Install, balance, repair as required. Diagnostics — Check engine lights, basic electrical, modern scan tools. Multi-Point Inspections — Thorough, honest, and communicated clearly to our Service Advisors and customers so they get the full picture. What You Bring to the Bay 5+ years of continuous, professional automotive experience — no gaps, no "i do sidework, that's my experience" Hands-on fluency with AC machines, alignment racks, ADAS systems (a plus), and diagnostic scan tools Your own professional tool set (yes, a full one) A valid driver's license, clean record, and a real commitment to showing up on time and doing quality work ASE certs are strongly preferred — 609 especially. If you've got them, lead with that. The Money $28-$34/hour based on experience Monthly performance bonuses — because good work should pay more Monday-Friday schedule with some Saturdays (not a six-day grind) Dental, Vision, and PTO — because you're a professional, not a contractor
