Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will keep vehicles running smoothly and safely. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. Whether working on domestic or foreign vehicles, your hands-on experience will drive our success and help customers get back on the road confidently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and suspensions, including diesel engine repairs and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations. Service vehicle components such as brakes, shocks & struts, tires, alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, fluid replacements, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to complete repairs precisely. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, welding techniques, and auto body repair is advantageous. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment safely and effectively. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs involving ADAS systems and electronic components. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including air brakes, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and wheel alignment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or manufacturer-specific training are desirable but not mandatory. $25.22 - $30.38 per hour
